You won't be able to copy the images directly to the camera. The camera only allows one way transfer (camera to computer), so you will need a memory card reader (such as this one http://www.westwoodprinters.com/wwp/prodSDDR99A15.htm ) to access the memory card. Once the card is inserted into the reader, you can access the memory card through the "My Computer" icon in Windows or "Finder" in Mac OS. Drag and drop the desired image files into the memory card and you're good to go. In some cases, cameras will save the image files in specific folders. If so, make sure to place the files in that folder, so you can access the images through your camera's LCD screen.

If the pictures are from the camera, you can copy the selected files from your computer (highlight the ones you want, and right-click "copy". Go to My Computer, then under the "devices with removable storage" section, you'll find the camera, usually drive F. Click on this, go to the folder where all the pictures are, and right-click again in a blank area and select "paste".

If the pictures aren't the same size or resolution as the camera, this won't work. But if they came straight from your camera and you didn't modify them, you can do this. There's plenty of ways around the software (which I don't even use).

In the future, only delete pictures with the camera, not through the "My Computer" tab. Then, in the case that you want to do this again, the numbers will still increase so that old pictures can be put back on the camera. Deleting the pictures from the camera still saves a spot (for lack of a better term) for them to be put back in, but deleting through Windows doesn't.

Sorry if any of this seemed dumbed-down or anything, but I have no idea who's computer-proficient and who's not.

You can't. The program is for getting pictures from camera or other photo places.
