my damn digital camera. [kodak easyshare CD40]?

Question

alright, i bought this camera 2 years ago.
it used to be a really good camera.
but now, it takes pictures by itsself, shuts off when it wants too, and doesnt let me scroll through the pictures, it also does that by its self, then flashes for a picture.
i asked kodak if they could fix it, but they said it would cost 75$, which as a kid ; i dont have.
any ways this could possibly be fixed?

As a kid, you shouldn't be using language like that either. (Or adult)

Have you tried replacing the batteries? Then take the batteries out and leave them out for a day or two. Sometimes that fixes things. If not, I would use the $75 to put toward a new camera. P&S digicams have improved quite a bit in the last couple of years.
