Somebody is using my unsecured network for free.
I have the name of the PC & MAC#. How can I catch him?
Can my provider spots and found out in what apartment that hacker is? I live in an apartment complex. I am planning to change to a new router soon

how do i put those on my computer or are they already on
and how do i make a secure folder
also how can i get rid all limewire tracks when i removed it off my limwire i searched for lime wire on the c/d drive and it found two folders of limewire that means its still on my computer rite or no????

I posted a question on here earlier about Malware, and got lots of answers. I tried several of them, one, installing Super Antispyware.exe. That program is causing a problem in itself. Majorgeeks.com says it is Malware and the problem is, you can't delete it. I looked in Add/delete and indeed it is not there. I emailed them and they answered "Hello-just got to add/delete and delete it, but I can't because it doesn't show there. Any suggestions. Make them good, I'm exhausted, with this thing. I ran a trial of Norton 360, found nothing, AVG Spyware tool does not find it. Maybe I have deleted the offending malware, but now can't delete the Super Antispyware.exe. Need Help. Thanks

There's no option on the start menu for it. When i double click on the clock in the bottom right hand corner it comes up a message saying "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on your computer. please contact your system administrator". It's not a business pc just my home computer, and i haven't messed around with anything. Could it be a virus or some sort of spyware? I have Norton 2007 so it should be up to date.

I've recently discovered lots of adware and spyware on my computer. The adware is terrible as I get pop-ups with naked women and pornography randomly coming up on the screen and this is not good with the younger kids go to use the computer. I'm also very wary of accessing my bank accounts and using my debit card on the internet incase the spyware captures my details. My anti virus software can't detect the adware and spyware at all. I really need help to get rid of this horrible virus!

Resently, I downloaded a program, but my homepage was changed into http://alloversafety.com/x.php, and could not be changed. I tried to edit on registry editor, but I failed. The strangest thing was that it does not show up on the Add or Remove Program in Control Panel. Who can tell me how to do!!!!!!

My computer is infected with trojans and pop-ups like crazy! i have ran norton av, avg, a-squared, spybot, microsoft defender, etc. I'm REALLY trying to avoid formatting my hard drive. What can I do to solve this problem because all the scans I have done are not working! Thanks!

My download speed is 120kbps No matter what i download or where i download it from it drops to 6kbps
So i opened up cmd typed in ipconfig -all
2 unauthorised mac addresses showed up
I believe there are 2 other devices connected to my secure wireless network.

I have a password on my wifi network but i do not know how to get these inturders off of my system.

Someone or something is sucking the speed out of my network.

What can i do to stop this?

Change the encryption key and reboot the router?

I paid the earth to get pgp encryption the newest desktop version my question is can i trust it to keep my files safe?.
I read that places like witness protection use pgp.

If the govrnment or some authority who has the resources or some high powered ranking person or professor got hold on my laptop and tried to decrypt it without the pgp decryption password could they do it.
I use a 30 digit code of uper and lower case letters and also numbers so could it be cracked by anyone if so how long would it take to crack would it be a life time like pgp claim?.

I take my laptop everywhere with me and it has important files and my life on this laptop so if anyone ever got hold of it i would not want my data stolen this included my bank details etc.

I install computers for a not-for-profit organization, offering the recipient 2 years of free DSL. I seriously just received a call saying they wanted to downgrade to dial-up because viruses and "worms" can be caught faster with dial-up and taken care of, than DSL. Is this craziness or realistic??

Norton AV caught a "generic" trojan download in progress (drive-by on a website - managed to View Source before IE shut down and there was an obfuscated URL attached to the page, which has since been removed by the site owner).

I've done the following:

- deleted the infection out of Norton quarantine
- run Spybot S&D in Safe Mode
- run AVG and AVG Spyware to double check

...can I be 100.1% sure my 'puter is now clean?
