It is very possible that someone could be monitoring your computer, through the use of multiple forms of viruses, malware, adware, spyware.... it's all the same, and it could be recording every keystroke you take, and sending the information by the internet to the hacker. However, you can combat this by installing good anti-virus, anti-adware and other anti spyware/virus software. A good place to start is AVG (Free Edition). Another great utility is Ad-Aware. I use both every week because you never know if someone is reading your information. There are many other programs on the internet available to civilians for a price, but information is priceless, so anyone would pay for good viruses. However, most are being updated into the threat lists of many anti-virus software. Best advice- download the above scanners and scan frequently. Good luck.
