with all this phone tapping and being able to get into peoples pc's, once you know for a fact who has got into your pc, can you press charges? or is it just a matter of making a small complaint nowadays. i have a good friend who is top pc guy for large nationwide company, unfortunately hes no expert on law. he has shown me who, and when has accessed my pc, now all i need to do is find out what i do or where i go with this information. can anyone help me please, i wont let this drop now i know.

I'm trying to download a song from limewire and it doesnt work. and it says on the bottom "limewire has detected firewall" is that good or bad?? If its bad, how do I fix it????

My wife's computer was stolen out of our appartment,and I was wondering if there was any way of tracking it back to where it is, through the web or internet providers.Does the computer have some kind of signature?Or numbers to identify itself? Codes? Please think, there's got to be something!

a little window popped up saying that a virus was detected but that it couldnt be quarantined. it was recommended that i delete the file myself. so i went to the C drive and deleted it. the window hasnt gone away and the website says i should download the latest virus pattern file. How do i get my trendmicro scan to use the latest virus pattern file? please help

Ever since this morning, something called "Security Alert" keeps popping up on my toolbar saying that I have all different kinds of viruses, every single time it pops up it says I have a different kind, but mostly spyware. And then it brings me to a page where I can download some of their suggested spyware removal programs. None of these downloads, by the way, appear to be even downloading or installing correctly, one of these programs was called bestseller-antivurus, and then there were a few more in which names I dont remember. I HAVE TRIED USING EVERY PROGRAM I HAVE TO ELIMINATE THESE SO CALLED VIRUSES, "Spybot, Avast!, Spyware Doctor, and now I dont know what else to try. And the thing that's even more frustrating is that I can't even get rid of this stupid "Security Alert". It keeps popping up and wont go away! I've tried everything. And it keeps bringing up those dumb websites with Bestseller and crap like that THAT WONT EVEN INSTALL! How do I remove these viruses?

I've been trying to access www.torrentspy.com, but haven't been able to lately because they have made some updates to the website in where people in the U.S. can't access it.

So is there anything I can do to bypass this feature, like making my IP appear to be that of a foreign country? Or is there any other trick you might know to get past this?

It gives options---Login anyway (not recommended), close.
Explans that there may be an atempt to fool you or interceept your data. The Yahoo address to get to mail is accurate. I log in and everything works.

i do not know if my computer is infected but it goes to this: http://anydnserrors.com/ie7/ and everytime i sign into http://www.clubeamizade.com it goes to that partiucalar area and the intenet connection has nothing to do with it and im really confused its been happeining for a few days now and i do not know if antispyware is save or not so i dont bother install it.

Hi,
Right now my Home Internet connection is not working and I'm forced to write this from my friends laptop in the hope that you can help me, I will outline my problems below and your help is greatly appreciated:

1. Internet Exporer 7 keeps saying "Page cannot be displayed".

2. I'm unable to access any secure sites and it keeps saying my firewall is blocking HTTPS and HTTP but I don't know hot to change the settings.

3. When I click the Internet Explorer link it takes me to the Microsoft site, which is confusing as I've set my home page as Yahoo UK. When I reach this site it just says "Page cannot be displayed.

4. I've checked and run Virus and Spyware scans and my system seems fine and running really fast. My internet connection is active but I just can't seem to acess it!!

It doesn't seem to be spam for several reasons. They have tried to change the email they use and fake information but I have checked the header and it is all from the same IP address-207.115.36.79. Can I find out who is doing this??

Well, I bought Trend MIcro because the staples manager I know said it was the best. But I had free spybot S&D but I think it was a "bad" one, not a good download ,but now I know to download to desktop and scan. The problem is that the Trend Micro, if I stop the puter each day it takes like 1.5 hours to run, too long. and I don't think it catches malware ?? I am afriad of downloads because many are tainted, what do you suggest ? thanks

I know a person who is trying to get everyone to download a 3K txt file to help her get some money. They claim the file can not be infected, that txt files can not have a virus or anything. I do not trust it. Even a 3K txt file could have a virus or something, right?

can anybody help me to get password of rediff mail of my employees, as we have very very confidential infromation which are decode and eveything thing is secured except redimail emails though we have our personal email but still it is complex to ban rediff for our business as there are some secret reason. So this way i can know are they sending decode information to outside or not via mail.
