First of all, what is VMWARE???? Is it supposed to be some sort of online spyware scan? If so, don't!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of the so called online scans load adware onto your system. Not all of them, just MOST.

Secondly, never ever load a "browser appliance", also know as browser helper objects, unless you have already researched it completely and are confident that it isn't just adware.

Lastly, I just researched this on google. Do a search for "vmware". You will find it is software to allow a "virtual machine" to run on your system. This allows for the use of more than one operating system.

The vmware website seems to have some items that require extra plugins for your browser to properly use them. If you have no need for the actual vmware itself, then there is no need to get the plugin (browser appliance).

I'm with John. Firefox does all that already.

Just use firefox.
VMware is virtual ware. Dont know what that browser and vmware are doing together.
