Resently, I downloaded a program, but my homepage was changed into http://alloversafety.com/x.php, and could not be changed. I tried to edit on registry editor, but I failed. The strangest thing was that it does not show up on the Add or Remove Program in Control Panel. Who can tell me how to do!!!!!!

well a virus that wont let u alter ur homepage hmm. well if its a virus a spyware program wont do any good. unistalling i.e. and redoing it wont do any good either. now depending on ur computer. if its a compaq of a certain year it came with a program to make back up discs. If its a compaq/hp contact them to see if it can if not you may have to get backup discs from them;dell or gateway what ever the model is. of course the headache from doing this is it will wipe everything out. the backup discs would reprogram the computer to the day it was "new" if its a store bought one. so save any pics u got to yahoo or something like that online. then u wont have to worry bout the virus coming back. because even if u do a system restore that dont mean that the virus would be wiped out. of course if u redo the computer from backup discs you'll have to redo everything updates etc... download any programs if u dont have them on disc.
