Hey, does anyone on here know where I can get a good, free, anti-virus program/download? I've used McAfee, Norton and AVG. AVG is my most current, but the version is due to expire this month, and I'm going to need a new one, any advice/websites etc would be most appreciated.

...I want to download some songs and/or programs using Kazaa or other, but I'm afraid of getting a virus on my computer.

Is it possible that once I download a song or program to do a scan on that particular song/program to be sure there is no virus before playing it?

I newly own a home desktop with Windows XP Professional. I have created a user account for my brother and a guest account. Being the system administrator, I wish to manage access to different programs for these two user accounts.

For example, can I deny access to a particular application or program such as Powerpoint ? And can I deny or allow access only to certain forlders and files ?

If someone could explain to me how to do this, please..

It is like some else has taken over my computer. If i try to click on something on the screen , the words start moving up and down pretty quickly so I can't click on anything. I don't know if this is a virus, or the monitor has a problem, this is the only computer I've ever heard of doing this. I believe there are some virus in a certain part of the computer, but virus removing software I've tried cannot remove it. Some older virus programs don't recognize the virus.Sometimes, I just want to throw the computer away. For a while the computer acted normal, but a couple of days it started this problem again. Also, the computer gets slow and freezes up pretty often.
