my computer has been infected with v****, i cant run any program with the word v**** including anti v**** program. i cant even search for anti v**** on the internet. and i cant turn off my computer from the start button. can somebody plz help me to solve this problem...

Our company does not permit certain sites Although I can go into the mail, I cannot view any photos. Is there any way to get passed this without having to contact the IT department. Please assist with profile codes or what-ever needs to be done to permit access

The file that the virus is infecting is
C:\\\Program files\video activex object\isaddon.dll. I deleted Video Activex Object from my add/remove screen, but it still never deletes virus after restarting computer. Please Hlep!!! Thank you

I have the magnets on doors only.
And everytime i open a door the machine beeps.

I heard if i but a magnet on one of th sensors it'll allow me get out without any beeps.

Now, which one do i put the magnet on, the one ON the door or the one that isnt ON the door?

And it wont activate anything, right?

For example, If I look something up such as a certain car model on yahoo or firefox, when I get the answers, and click on the one I want, it keeps redirecting me to some other website that's not related. It might be a virus or something. All I know is I want to get rid of that. Please help. Thank You.

I used Internet Explorer for years. Then Firefox which was reliable but it simply didn't work with some sites. I've found Netscape to be little better than Internet Explorer.

I need reliability, anytime, and everytime! I want the speed and reliability of Internet Explorer without the threat. IE7 is the worst.

Suggestions please.

I have Yahoo Beta Mail; twice I have experienced having an e-mail that will not be sent. My daughter tells me it is because of security; that a security is protecting my computer from viruses etc. How can I tell the computer to let this one go through? I know it is a good site and virus free.

Pretty self-explanatory. Let's pretend, for a moment, that we jump ahead about 5 or 10 years n the future and every possible username that everyone could thing of (excluding ones with numbers in them and such), on Yahoo and all the other big networks, has been taken. What will people do to make new usernames? Any suggestions?

It i written in redcode and is based on the darwin prgm written by morris. As near as I can tell, It resides in it's own partition, it hashs during virus scans, and has disabled my symntec.

We just got a brand new computer a month ago. We have only installed a few programs. But lately when i click on something it will go very slow. I also have mc afee 2007. It says no hackers or viruses are in the computer. But everytime i have something running and open task manager....the cpu usage is 100%, with only one program running. Anything that can help?

I had a job and the company gave me a username and password. They never gave me a written contract with any rules that I signed. I quit and they did not turn off my password. Not till I looked for information related to my personal pay from the company e-mail. From other accounts with the same password. (company accounts) I did the looking from OUTSIDE of the USA....
