i installed the mcafee suite and now i am bugged of it and want to uninstall it.. but in the add/remove programs only one mcafee uninstall wizard is comin which says that mcafee cannot be uninstalled due to some html dialog not being present.. now i'm confused what to do.. should i delete it manually or what.. i check all folders and files.. there is no uninstall file.. please help..

The free anti virus I now have will be discontinued Jan. 15 and in order for me to download the new one I will have to purchase an upgraded computer which I don't want to have to do right now.

what iam saying seems sensible to me, we go to a site and we pick up cookies which stick with us and monitor our travels over the internet and what we are interested in and then report back to where they came from,well what stops the anti-spyware program owners from sending out spyware to infect a system,and thus promote business?this must be happening so how are we to protect ourselves?every anti-spyware and anti-virus program has to be updated. i notice that for a customer to get a anti-virus thats any good,it costs money and then they are comprimised anyway,it seems. iam still a novice computer user but this is what it seems to me. ive had a computer since may,2005 ,ive been reformatted 3 times and week after week i have to go to the tech reps to straighten out the spyware created problems.is it like this for every body?

coud not start windows firewall/internet connection sharing {ics}
service on local computer.
ERROR: 1075 the dependency service dosnot exist or has been marked for deletion .

earlier i asked a question about being able to surf the net without signing into my internet connection.My computor is set to have to sign in.The answers all said i must have a wireless connection to a neighbours or something and to check my wireless card or settings.How do I do this please(I'm pretty computer daft).Im pretty sure I dont have one and if I dont, how could I be surfing?

I have done everything from deleting files to deleting cookies to running norton antivirus. i'm totally lost, is the computer a lost cause now? I've got it to where we are now able to get back on line without the adware pages pop up but when i run the virus scan it still says that the trojan virus is infecting the computer. this is brand new computer, and i hope it's not a lost cause. please help if anybody can give me any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

Cannot copy anything into thumb drive and also cannot format it. Error show that the disk is write protected. How to remove the write protection. Before this my PC was infected by Bro-Act virus and still cannot remove the virus. Already try to scan with a lot of antivirus tools but the virus still remain in the PC.

somethin' is wrong with my computer. everytime i right click on somethin' to bring up the box the words don't show until i roll over them.
