Scan with your anti-virus! If you got a virus from Yahoo Messenger, it tells me you are probably not using a real time virus scanner.
If so, delete the anti-virus you have (if you have one) and install AVG free. The best free anti-virus application around. Good luck!

Uninstall it and reinstall it. Then run a registry scan to remove the old registry files. What kind of virus you got? If it's those spamming msgs just uninstall and reinstall.

You can always go to www.trendmicro.com to get a free virus scan.
Most spyware remover or antivirus softwares aren't that good. So using them won't work.
