Spyware isnt a virus.. the scripts a malacious. now. first disconnect the internet from ur comp. go to the add remove programs and uninstall all the crap you dont need.
then go to windows explorer
C:\windows\temp
C:\windows\temporary internet files
C:\windows\cookies
delete the content in all the above folders
go to C:\program files and delete all the spyware folders after you have removed them from add / remove programs.
finally,
go to start, and run. then type MSCONFIG.
go to startup first,
unclick all the spyware memory resident programs that are booting along with teh PC, and restart to begin with.
this will solve your 90 % problems.
rest would be solved wien u edit the registry
- check it out

Scan the PC with standard antivirus software. If you do not have one, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spy ware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

If you are able to get on-line, first step is to go to the web page listed below, which is for Trend-Microcillin's "Housecall" anti-virus program that will check your pc for viruses while you are on-line with them. The next link listed below is for a similar service from Trend which checks for spyware. Do the anti-virus check first, then the anti-spyware. Once your system is free of both, by all means download a good anti-virus program like the free AVG anti-virus, and also get the free "Spybot Search And Destroy" to get spyware infestations. Good luck.

well, this is a hard task, really. I had the same problem last week with my own PC - it got infected with "Trojan horses". I found a very good anti-spyware program - it is called XsoftSpy and has a very large virus definition database. So, it detects everything and can clean almost everything. In my case, however, it could not clean everything, so I re-installed the Windows - a rather nasty task :)))

You need to install a commerical-grade spyware scanner in order to protect your computer from these types of problems. Also, make sure your Windows Updates are current, so that known problems are patched.

I have used and had good luck with XoftspySE. You can download a free scan here:

Good luck!

You can go to www. avast.com and they have some great virus protection software available for non-commercial use which is free. You can also do a virus scan there and they can give you suggestions to rid yourself of your specific problems. Hope this helps.
