Who do I call?
I had a free year trial of 365.com radio player last year & I tryed to get it to work, with no luck, cause I'm on a slow dial up connection. The music plays for about 20 sec. then a long pause of nothing, I wrote them & asked for help, but no reply. This thing was to play continueous music & would not. Now after never being able to use the servise for the year, I get e-mails from them, saying my contract is up for renewal & they had made attempts to charge my paypal account for another years service with out my consent. I have wrote them 2 times now asking them to close it, but the continue to make attempts to charge me for another year. Who can I report these actions to? & if they charge me, can I sue them for doing this? 365.com is attempting to rip me off!

My laptop has been infected with some kind of malware, turning it into a zombie and spamming thousands of people when I'm on the internet. I've taken it off my network but I can't remove whatever it is that is causing the spam to be sent out. It's not using my normal mail clients and I can't see the process that's running the spamming.

I've run Norton on it, Spyware Doctor, AVG and ZoneAlarm but it doesn't detect anything. I've also tried running a process scanner and I can see that my system is sending out material to various domains, using DNS (not SMTP or UDP). I've tried looking on Google for solutions but it's impossible getting an accurate answer because 'spam' is such a generic term.

Another piece of malware runs on startup which lowers my Norton anti-virus, which may be connected.

I'm not a very technically-minded person, as I'm sure you can tell - can you recommend any solutions (preferably free as I can't afford to buy MORE anti-virus software!) to solve this problem

I have just noticed my McAfee Virus scan is not working. I logged onto their Security Centre, tryed to enable it and got this msg.
Some components of Active Shield are either missing or might not have been installed properly. Its been working fine until just now. Could I have inadvertently done something . I would be grateful for any help. Thanx.

The password will not keep others from using your wireless connection, it will only prevents people from going into your configuration page.

Really?

I don't know. Normally when my friends come over, and they bring their laptops to use at my house, I need to tell them the password before they can get connected. So, I'd say the password keeps people from using my internet connection.

Can someone please explain?

He discovered a log-on that was unknown to him and now when I do a search to make sure my activity under this log-on is removed, I find it in a cache file. How can I locate and undo the cache file? He asked me about the name/ account on the 7th of Jan and that is the day the cache file was created. I do not know if he has discovered the password or what exactly the cache file will tell him.Thnaks!
