I have recently had a new computer installed at work and its so up to date that whenever I google certain things past websites that I have visited appear which I dont really want. It shows what is stored on my computer. Can you let me know how I can delete this facility? I dont want everybody in the office knowing my business. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Tools > internet options > clear history. Is that what you want to do?

Go to tools>internet options. When the window opens click on delete files, then click on delete cookies and the select clear history.

If you don't want people knowing what you do while you are at work you should limit access to the internet to work related issues and save the personal stuff for when you get home.

Don't use Google Desktop. Not sure if you can delete something once Google has it stored though...
