atrueprotection is spyware that attempts to steal your passwords. Running spybot and adaware should find and delete it. I would also recommend running your anti-virus program.
Update and run your Anti-Virus program. Don't have one? You can run a free online scan from CA.
http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx
Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.
Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/products/select_your_product.php
After you get your computer clean add spyware blaster to your security apps.
Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html
SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.
It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
I would also change all your passwords since you will have no immediate way of knowing if it has stolen any of them.
If you don't have a firewall you should get one. It will stop the spyware from being able to send out any information it may have stolen. You can get a awesome free one that works great right out of the box from Comodo.

The problem is in the online database, not your computer hardware. So,an anti-spyware programm won't really help.Uninstall your browser, and reinstall it again,so as to renew all the files and cookies. After that, you may want to change your Internet security settings from your Control Panel.Set them to a stricter level.Commercials are inevitable alas.

Adaware is an excellent program to use. I've used it for a couple years now. Also, use ZoneAlarm as a firewall, it helps.
