I'm no techno geek but as a previous user of Norton's and now a McAfee subscriber, I'm quite impressed with the protection my computer now has. It just might be worth it to give it a try.

There are providing it because it is good and they want to keep their system free from viruses. I run it myself and have not had any viruses. The SiteAdvisor function is a great added bonus. It will let you know if a site is bad before you even get to it.

Speaking on just the virus scanner part, the techs at Best Buy where I use to work at recommended PC-cillin. And when I use to work at Micro Center, the techs there recommended NOD32.
