If there is someone connected to your computer, it should be shown through a netstat command.
To do a netstat, go to Start > Run..., and type in "cmd" (no quotes) into the dialog box, and press Enter. This will open a new window.
At the command prompt type:
netstat -a -n
Under the Foreign Address column you will see all the IP addresses that have a connection to your computer. These include address through your web surfing, instant messaging, web applications, and other.
Now to tell where these ip addresses are from go to:
http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm
and type in the IP addresses.

if you do not have software to do this like Norton Internet explorer you can drop to the C prompt and type netstat-a and watch the list of sites that are logged on your computer with or without your consent, then get a program called DNS look up and type in the DNS numbers you find the legal ones have to have a site address and a phone # to be able to report abuse of their site.

Either get a key logging program or a firewall program.
