it depends on what trojan you have. some trojans has manual removal, but as you hadn't mentioned waht parasite you have, i suggest you to try some other anti-spyware. all anti-spyware works in different ways, so if one of them can't erase trojan, other can do it. try spyware doctor:

or spybot search and destroy:

sYou might have scanned it with a anti-virus software which is out of date or another reason it might be that virus is unrecognized by that particular anti virus.
DO THE FOLLOWING TO GET RID OF IT.
1. Install atleast 2 antivirus software and 2 spyware detection tool to check it out(Free or Licensed ,don't ever use pirated one)
2.Close your all programs while scanning with AV.
3.Shut your Internet connection while scanning.
4.If still the virus is there then go online.
5. Go to google.com --: in search box type by hitting Capslock on the following word "BLASTER"
6.After you move to selected website scan your PC online and delete it.

Hope this resolves your problem. If not resolved than mail your computer antivirus details and your configaration details to me.
THANK YOU.

Scan again and remove in safe mode.

In general, Windows does not allow the deletion of files when they are in use. However, Safe Mode will only load a minimum amount of drivers and services to run Windows, making removal a better bet. Scan again and attempt to delete while your computer is in safe mode.

To access Safe Mode, reboot then repeatedly press the F8 key at the first screen. When finished removing that pesky pest, reboot again to return to normal mode.

Most of the anti virus software should be able to clear the virus from your PC. There are even a few free anti virus software.

Try google and type "Symantec", 'trend micro anti virus ".

I also got infected by trojan horse virus recently. And this is exactly how I solved it.

Try it and good luck

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

Consider changing your anti-virus. I suggest use BItDefender i've been using it for a quite long time and it does not give me any pain in the a*s. Give it a try.
