It's the town of the Internet Service Provider. For DSL, it can be in a different state, but most cable ISPs/ Buisnesses are either close or correct completely.

Actually you can not find the exact location,If i trace mine it shows I am in Chicago, Il, but actually I am 500 miles from there

hi use a software called tracert default in Windows servers or xp pro

or use MCafee ttrace back
