I have the option to get a TV Tuner for my PC, but I would have to loose the TV to do it. Is it worth it?

I am planning to use the TV Tuner, besides watching regular TV, is to use it to play Xbox 360 on my monitor, and the quality would greatly improve. My monitor is 19 inches LCD. My videocard setup (if that matters) is dual nVidia 7600s, and I do have available PCI slots. What really could bother me would be to watch TV. I usually tend to watch TV when I wait for something to be done on the computer, like compiling or rendering, anyone had similar experiences? So, what would be better?

I have 2 SATAII hard drives, but until now have had a motherboard only capable of SATA speeds (150mb). Having just got a new motherboard with SATAII capabilities I've connected the SATAII hard drives using the original SATA cables that came with the old motherboard.

I know there's a difference between the cables - the SATAII cables have clips on them, making them more secure, but is there actually a difference in speed? Or will I be getting full SATAII speeds from regular SATA cables?

I have a couple of memory sticks that were found but they are originally from a Dell system, will they work in a Gateway system?
They are made by Samsung so I would assume they would.

I am a graphic designer and after a few years of accumulating images, now need a secure way to archive my catalogue of work. Til now I have burned multiple copies of my work on many DVDs but searching and using past images is a hassle. Would you recommend using a (or multiple) external hard drives or just keep on burning? Is either one less secure? I know that, depending on the chemicals used, DVDs will lose the information burned on them in 10 to 25 years. Thanks!

Western Digital 250GB 7200RPM SATA 2 Hard Drive 250

I'm a total Noob when it comes to installing hard drives, but I know my 30 GB drive is full and I need something bigger. I have an IBM ThinkCentre, it's newer. How do I tell if this hard drive will work??
Thanks.

Here are my PC specs:

AMD Sempron 3500+ Processor,
Gigabyte Nvidia 7600GT Video Card,
768MB DDR333 (PC2700) RAM,
80GB IDE Hard drive.

I'm considering upgrading my memory to 1GB of DDR400 RAM and/or a SATA 3.0GB/s hard drive. Would these upgrades make a significant improvement in performance? Would the memory or the hard drive help more? I play a lot of first-person shooter, so I'm looking for faster load times and also quicker ALT-tab switching to other programs when in fullscreen.

AGP pro 1.5V
AGP pro 3.3V
AGP pro Universal

how to identify it?

something like this with 2 divider on it. 1 of it is shorter than d other divider.

the whole slot is about 11cm.

Ok, let's say I were to buy an AMD 64 X2 3800+ 2Ghz dual core processor. Does this mean that there are 2 cores that run at 1Ghz each, or does it mean that there are 2 cores that run at 2Ghz each?
