whats the different between dimm and sodimm on memory chips??

Question

I want to buy a memory chip but it says that its a dimm so i dont know if also the same as sodimm for laptop.. Im looking for a memory for my desktop pc133 256mb sdram. no laptop.

Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module (SODIMM) is a DIMM made specifically for portable computers. SODIMMs come in 72 and 144 pin configurations. An SODIMM is smaller than a 168 pin DIMM.
