Agree with Number 1. Change the country setting for the keyboard. You currently have the USA layout. Switch to British.

What to have is the wrong "Keyboard Map" set. What you need to do is to change the setting in your "Control panel" -- "Keyboard"
to "EN English (United Kingdom)" it is probably set to EN English (US)

keys aren't mixed up you must first turn off "caps lock "
look when you do this to see if the caps lock light or the "A" light turns off
