Will RAM sticks for Dell work on Gateway?

I have a couple of memory sticks that were found but they are originally from a Dell system, will they work in a Gateway system?
They are made by Samsung so I would assume they would.

As long as they are the same type the Gateway uses, i.e. DDR or DDR2, they will work. The fact that they were originally in a Dell will not matter.
