I would like both to be able to record pics of video games I play on my television and to record them in a video type format so that I can display still and moving images on web pages. Would a dvd burner hooked up to my t.v. and various video game systems get the job done?

Thanks to all thoughtfull replies.

I know the hardware is good, the drives are found in Add Hardware, and the fact that both drives went dead, and their drivers corrupt/missing leads me to believe that a virus caused the damage. I've already run several full virus scans, and restarted several times, how can I restore the drivers, and consequently, the drives bak to health?

Have you ever done it? If so, what method did you use? Is it worthwhile to recapture gold from gold-plated jewelry or do you only end up with a few pennies worth? Say I was to recover 10K plated gold from a charm (chain) bracelet (no charms). Would I recover more or less then $1?

Okay, my San Disk doesn't want to work now, and my computer can't detect my files on there. So I don't want to format it, so that my files won't be erased on there. It is also on RAW and not FAT anymore. So can you please tell me how to save my files on there? I had a lot of them. My San Disk is also a Gigabyte, so there isn't much to be lost on it. Thanks! ^_^

Ok, so I know that I am running a 256 PCIE Radeon X800 graphics card. Just I am curious as to how exactly to check whether it is a PCIE card. I go to run and run dxdiag and get the info but no where on there does it say which kind of card it is. I am just curious about how you go around checking whether the card is PCI, AGI, or PCIE card. Thanks in advance.

I recently (as in the last two weeks) went and bought a Dell Dimension 9200, and it was amazing, the fastest Pc I had ever been on. Since I have used it to play dvd's, installed three games and connected it to the internet. recen;ty however it has been going really slow. There are no virus on the Pc.. but over 60 processess happening at once, is it the processes causing the slow down (I thought the pc needs to keep them running) or something else?
