I just ordered DSL High speed for $29.95, What do I need to do to downgrade to the lower speed( $14.95 package)?
Would this mean returning the free modem.
Thanks

The provider offers different DSL plans with different speeds .. If it's all DSL and not dial-up and if you want to save money and can get by with the lower speeds, ask them if you can switch plans... they'll take care of it at the phone company, and you keep the modem.

You have/had dsl or highspeed internet, you dont like it or too expensive? If this is the case then call the ppl (either company) and tell them about your situation and they will walk you thru the process. If you cant however, take every internet connectin you have running to the back or your computer out and just attach a phone line to and from the back of your computer. Get the low speed service and you in.

It depends entirely on what your provider has set. Give them a ring and ask or look on their website.
