Okay, my San Disk doesn't want to work now, and my computer can't detect my files on there. So I don't want to format it, so that my files won't be erased on there. It is also on RAW and not FAT anymore. So can you please tell me how to save my files on there? I had a lot of them. My San Disk is also a Gigabyte, so there isn't much to be lost on it. Thanks! ^_^

You can try another USB port while the computer is on, and flash drive in the one that is not working now. And are you using the Safely Remove Hardware function? Sans Disk asks that you do. It will be found in your system tray at bottom of screen when you have the drive in the port. It will pop up. Lay your mouse on top to see the Safely Remove Hardware and follow menus.

Have you tried using your San Disk in another computer? You might save your info by doing that.

If it doesn't work, then I suggest you go to a specialist.

i read in a book that when you can't get the front usb port to work you should try the one on the rear of the computer. the front ones leak power and the back ones don't

uninstall San Disk and reintstall it.

Sometimes you can re-install it right over the one already there.
