Ok, so I know that I am running a 256 PCIE Radeon X800 graphics card. Just I am curious as to how exactly to check whether it is a PCIE card. I go to run and run dxdiag and get the info but no where on there does it say which kind of card it is. I am just curious about how you go around checking whether the card is PCI, AGI, or PCIE card. Thanks in advance.

The Dell 2400 has integrated portraits so there is not an specific card to verify. I might say it's going to often play your recreation however the efficiency won't be terribly satisfactory. Which you can pass the built-in pix which can be developed into the motherboard and add a images card but you can be fairly confined even right here when you consider that I suppose that model doesn't have a PCI specific port however just a regular PCI port. That you would be able to get a average PCI pix card to be able to manage the game however it won't be first-rate efficiency.

The easiest way is to open the unit and have a look at the slot where the card sits. Then make reference to your motherboard documentation to ascertain which port it is on. I was going to describe the different ports for you, but I am not good and description. Especially where these ports are quite similar.

the wire from your monitor goes to graphics port on the graphics card
open the cabinet and check into which slot the graphics card is fixed.
if you look carefully around that slot on the motherboard (preferably with a magnifing glass) you will notice the name of the slot written in small handwriting- pci1, pci2, or AGP1 or AGP2
from that you will come to know which card you have
