My PC doesn't recognize my digital camera and I don't know what to do :-s ... HELP PLEASE!!!

Note:

-My camera is a BenQ (model DC C800)
-My PC OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition.

You need to install the software and drivers for most digital camera BEFORE you plug them in. If you plugged it in first, you will need to go into the Device Manager (Control panel > System icon > Hardware tab > Device Manager) and find the listing for the camera (or for an unknown device), right click on it and uninstall it. Then install the software and drivers and reattach the camera. Should work after that.

go to google and search for "BenQ (model DC C800) drivers"

then download and install it

plug in ur camera

open the driver from my computer

then just copy em and paste to the computer

you need to download the software for your digital camera to your computer
once that's done it should upload the pics from your camera to your pc

check in the BenQ website for the software/driver download for your camera/pc

usually xp pics up all digital cameras without any additional drivers. but if it wont pic, then you could get an sd card reader and stick your cameras memory card in it and that way you can download you pics.

download adobe photoshop and then try loading your pics. This should recognize it. Also, did u install andy cds that came with the camera? Make sure u do that.
