ive just built a computer and i was wondering from your opinions what it is worth.

AMD 3200+ cpu
foxconn 6150 k8ma motherboard
128 nvidia graphics card
1 gig ddr 400mhz ram
160gb hdd
dvd rw 16x
12 in 1 card reader
nice cool case, black/silver

also is there any extra things i could add that are not dear but may boost value? e.g neon inner lights since case has a clear window oin side?
thanks for any ideas and estimated value :)

i am basically a pc user, but i get to read so much about these mac freaks / die-hard fans
this is the specifications sheet,
http://www.apple.com/imac/specs.html
what the hell is a mobile processor doing inside a desktop
gma950 & other components also indicate a mobile system
i am at a loss > is this plain stupidity or some masterstroke or what
never needed to bother much about them cause i know my limitations ... a porsche made good posters in hostel, lol
could some kind hearted soul give me some clue on this inner secrets

i am a simple student and i want to build my first ever pc system for personal use like video editing (HEAVY) word typing, internet, email, uploads digital cam videos, store loads and loads of pictures from photo album (really HUGE).

i have come up with the following spec:

Asus P5B DELUXE motherbaord
INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6600 2.4GHz
2GB DDR400 RAM
SAPHIRE 11090-03-20R X1650 PRO Graphics Card
SAMSUNG HD SERIAL 500GB
LITEON DVD±RW

RaidMax Sagitta case
Thermaltake 500Watt Power Supply Unit
Coolermaster liquid CPU cooling with 2 extra case fans
19" TFT LCD monitor
Logitech Keyboard and mouse
Internal 12 in 1 Flashmedia reader/writer

what are your views on this spec?

will the motherboard, processor, RAM and graphics card work well together?

shall i use win xp home or win xp pro? why?

i will be using Arctic Cooling Frezer 64 Pro?

I'm upgrading my MB and CPU and didn't realize until after I purchased them (for quite a penny), that I didn't remember reading anything about them being compatible with Windows XP Home Edition SP2. I upgraded from P4 3.0 ghz to a Core 2 Quad 2.40 ghz and from a Intel 945G Media Series to a XFX Nvidia 680i SLI. I'm really weary of buying Windows Vista yet due to the immense number driver issues cropping up, and would perfer to wait until after the first Service Pack is realeased. So can anyone please answer me...Is Windows XP Home SP2 compatible with Quad-Core CPUs? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere!
Any help is appreciated and if possible please leave a link to the information you found so I can read it over also.
Thanks for any help,
Ryanaven

I know that Dell and Compaq have their own little hidden diagnostic program. I was wondering if eMachines has one or not and how one could access it if it did.

I have an eMachines computer that restarts itself after about 30 minutes and I'm trying to figure out why.

I am currently using a PC with pretty good hardware that is running XP and am thinking of switching to a mac and am wondering if I should sell my PC, take the money from the sale and buy an iMac. I'm also wondering if it is necessary to have more than the standard 512MB of ram on an Intel-based mac. I'm not into gaming, just web browsing and listening to music. Suggestions...?

I'm building a new PC desktop and I don't know which processor to go with. I'm trying to decide between the two following processors:

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+

or

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 4400+

The price difference is $50 to upgrade to 4400+. Also, please give me a brief reason as to why I should go with your choice? Thanks a lot!
