I have mac os x tiger and I saw on the commercials that it has this this thing where everything becomes dark and theres like a light where the mouse is. How do I do that?

Your description is a little vague. It could be that the light you saw in the commercial was purposely created to clearly indicate the mouse position. To my knowledge, the only 'dark' effect the takes place on OS X is when Dashboard [ Press F12] or Front Row [ Press ⌘+Esc ] is activated.

i have no idea what u r talking about. there is no lights on the outside of the mac mini, do u mean front row and the apple remote ? do u mean an optical mouse that uses light ? i have a macbook pro.

I have the mac book with Macosx 10, i'm not sure what you mean, try pushing f9 or f10....ummm...i'll try and find out for you...try this website
