Go to Dell's website and look up your model# in the support section- that way you can see the complete system specs. As someone already mentioned earlier, that computer only has PCI expansion slots (no AGP or PCI Express) on the motherboard, so it can't be upgraded with a gaming video card. It will accept an old-style PCI card like a Geforce FX5200 or Radeon 9000, but those wouldn't help much.

You won't be able to do much. It has a few PCI slots (which video cards are available for but are crappy) and a PCI-e 1x which is no better. You can buy any normal PCI card, but not PCI-e. Any card for both of those slots won't be much of a gaming card.

It seems that your computer has one PCI slot and one PCIe slot. The PCIe slot is a much faster bus. When shopping for a new video card - look for something with this slot. It will be much better than the onboard video.

your Dell motherboard is what is called a proprietary board meaning that only Dell knows what works. So you have to called Dell and ask what they can put in it.... sorry wish there was more but only they have the tools!

Enter the BIOS and check to see if the PCIe controller/adapter is set as the default controller.
