Where is the PCI located in a computer? In the processor or motherboard?

the processor is located ON the motherboard. The PCI is a slot for a card like sound card, usb card, modem,etc they vary from 3 to 6 depends on type of board. but usually lines up with each other. see this

if your talking about your pci slots they are on the motherboard they hold the sound card etc. they will be white in color the agp card slots are brown in color.
