ive just built a computer and i was wondering from your opinions what it is worth.
AMD 3200+ cpu
foxconn 6150 k8ma motherboard
128 nvidia graphics card
1 gig ddr 400mhz ram
160gb hdd
dvd rw 16x
12 in 1 card reader
nice cool case, black/silver
also is there any extra things i could add that are not dear but may boost value? e.g neon inner lights since case has a clear window oin side?
thanks for any ideas and estimated value :)

I take it that you're not a professional builder. If you had researched this you would have simply added the total cost of the parts together and added £40 for labour.
Only fanboys will want neon lights in a case - most folks just want a decent computer with high speed and no frills.
And if you supply it with MCE or Vista HP, you will be required to support it for 12 months - part of the Microsoft agreement on supplying OEM versions of Windows.
If you stick on a pirated copy of Windows, you can get prosecuted and fined as you will be knowingly supplying stolen property.
No point in charging a tenner for a pirated version - it cannot be updated, no security updates, and you'll be fined a lot more than a tenner in court.
As for the cost... I don;t know how well you build computers so I wouldn't part with more than 100 quid.

Well i have just sold my old PC
Amd 64 3800 + = £ 30.00 Ebay
Abit Board = £ 30.00 Ebay
Memory XMS 3500 pro Corsair £ 70.00 Ebay
With what you have someone can buy it brand new at around £200.00
so i would sale it for say £150 max
That spec you got is OK to run games on Mid lvl
Go spend £600 and get new PC
also i have just noticed people saying you can get £500 LOL . They are taken the piss mate , The PC you have is a very very low spec and you will not get more than £200 ,

this is a good build you have done here mate, nice components, however when you build a p.c the main factor should be "can i upgrade this"
the foxconn 6150 has a pci-express x 16 slot so future graphic card upgrades wont be a issue, and with the price of the nvidia 8800 series of cards dropping in price all the time, this could be a future choice
with 4 ddr ram memory banks theres also plenty of memory banks spare for future memory upgrades
all of your parts can be upgraded so theres a few good enjoyable years in this p.c and thats the aim of the game,a pc build needs to be a good long term investment and this is certainly a good build
other future upgrades could also be a dual core athlon64 processor, these are dropping in price aswell
as for the value of this build, well if i was to buy a p.c with these specs i would imagine i would pay around £400,so if you payed less than this you have done well
anyway, well done on a good p.c build and dont hesitate to let me know if you have any problems with your p.c
good luck mate!

It is new or used? I don't know if 3200+ are still sold...
Well, I can't tell the socket so it would depend a little on if it's socket AM2 or 939.
With Windows: If it's socket AM2 and new, $400, used: $300. If 939 and new, $360, used $260.
Is this in pounds or dollars?

In my humble opinion, you're looking at about £300 / £350.... You could get a cheap-ish monitor from Freecycle and add that too it to bump it up by another £50/£75. Good luck.
P.s Neon lights will make it look cheap and tacky; no! :)

i wouldn't pay over £130 no matter how many lights are in it :)
then again i make my own pc's... somebody who can't do that might pay more as they would still not find one that cheap in the shops.
add another £60 if u use a geunine windows xp, otherwise stick on a pirated vista and add a tenner.

OK, I suggest you add up all the price of the total components used first (I est £355+), then add labour, and OS (Genuine please if XP or Vista - Or linux)
I estimate £435 for the PC, if Vista Home Prem was installed
