Please someone help I.E. can't view flash or my e-mails and I tried reinstalling but no success and it's deleting me from veiwing my lan connections.

" not a valid Win 32 application" happens when I try to open or start a CD. I cannot use the CD Rom for anything unless I have an Icon on the desk top. I have run Anti Virus and Anti Spyware.

Hi all !! I have bought a computer in China and i will be moving back home to Canada in the summer (taking my pc with me) .....i'm a little worried about the electrical plugs ....i think there they are not the same .....if not what can i do ...i really don't want to by a new one ! I have a Dell Dimension XPS T500 (Win 98) and want to check if the two extra RAM's I have will fit. I doubt they will, but I want to atleast open my comp. and check. And If they don't fit I'll gladly sell them.

I keep getting an alert saying I have too little space left on my harddrive, and cannot surf the web, nor email without emptying the temporary files folder continuously, so I got rid of stuff I don't use too frequently, but instead of freeing space, it's taking up more...............what's going on with it? Does anyone knows???

I'm looking to buy a new computer when I get my tax refund this year. I'll mostly use it for word processing, financial software and some music. I don't go for the games that require top of the line graphics and sound. I do want something reliable. I prefer to spend less than $500 but would be able to stretch to around $700. Any recommendations?

I know eMachines are pretty cheap, but are they at least decent quality?

I have 1gb of ram, a Geforce 6200 video card, intel pentium 4, 2.40 ghz, I need honest opinions if i need to update for future games, or current, because i am a major gamer. If i do need to update, what would be needed the most?

ok so my comp stats are as follows:

Microsoft vista OS
1.25 Ram
40Gig HD(upgrading in a couple of weeks)
and 2.0 Ghz proccesor

no viruses and nothing really on it it doesnt lag just shows that my CPU usage is at 100 % most of the time which does cause to lag sometimes VIstais NOT the problem cause it always showed 100%usage even before i upgrade

so bassically what can i do to get better performance out the comp

Did a restore week ago but need to do it again and won't says it can't restore to that point. When I sign off my screen turns all gray and empty and I can not do any thing to close it except manually shut it off..why?

I have a monitor and keybord for the Mac Mini, but I see the iMac has features like Airport and Bluetooth which I don't use now and I don't want to get stuck with a small monitor if I can help it.

this is a 1year old..fujitsu siemens computer..it has 27.6GB FREE out of a 149GB Capacity
Intel Pentium 4..3.20 GHz..
2.78GHz, 512 RAM
I haved got around 30GB of movies, music and pictures saved, 50GB of games installed and game files and rest are the programs
the problem is:
Booting the pc and waitin for logging into any specific account is a big headache..in short..the start up takes too long
when i shut down..its the same problem and on top of zat i always get promts like that:
'The application failed to initialize bcoz the windows is shutting down'
there are some programs which don't respond quickly
When I click on an icon..it takes long to open..somtimes..very very long..15-20 minutes!
i usually work with a maximum of 4-5 programs at d same time..e.g: AOL, Internet Explorer, Yahoo Messenger,MSN Messenger, Azureus,games like Nedd4Speed Carbon or Fifa 07
I have got a pretty useless antivirus..EZ Armor!
what should i do??

I have a Dell Dimension 2400 and I just installed Windows Vista. I now can't change my display off of 640 x 480 and 16-bit color. Additionally, the Ethernet does not work, which is REALLY irritating.
