I have a Dell Dimension XPS T500 (Win 98) and want to check if the two extra RAM's I have will fit. I doubt they will, but I want to atleast open my comp. and check. And If they don't fit I'll gladly sell them.

Many places show the Memory slots, but No where I can find thus far has a manual for opening the unit. Did you get a manual at all ?

A driver is software. If you uninstall the driver software for your CD drive, it will no longer function. In order to use your CD drive again you would need to re-install the drivers. If you're sure this is what you want to do, go to Control Panel, Device Manager, click the + next to DVD/CD ROM Drives, on the drop down right click the device you want to uninstall and select Uninstall. Your CD drive will now no longer function.
