some companies made a backup of the default settings of the computer, i know compaq and hp does
if u can find that just restore it
thats the best way
NOTE:doing this it will delete all the chnages u've made
and its good to hav an anti-virus and a firewall installed and running on ur PC
i prefer, ZoneAlarm

Firstly, what have you been downloading? My guess is free software, music from a share site like Limewire or Kazaa or most likely Porn.
Dude... 99.999% of the time... VIRUS!!! Get yourself virusscan and some dirty magazines or kiss your computer goodbye

2.Download it.
3.hit check for problems (it will find all that’s not suppose to be on your computer this could take up to 20m)
4.hit fix selected problems
5.Once all that is done get yourself a antivirus program.
