hi, my pc keeps making really loud irratating noise, it used to be when it was warm, i since moved it, it still makes this noise when its cold, its so loud, ay ideas what to do...its not hot and dust free

i live in south korea and im going shoping next week at the electronics market and want to put together a kick *** computer i already have a 32 inch lcd monitor so what kind of graphics card and processor should i get? money is not so much a problem but i dont want to go crazy

Setup: 512 RAM, 256 dual channel shared, Pentium4@2.8 GHz, Windows XP - Machine works great! Question: When should an upgrade even be considered? Is there a disk space percentage or are there any hard and fast rules as to when someone should begin thinking about an upgrade? I don't want a crash or lock-ups or sluggish performance...ever. My computer recently crashed and I had to reinstall win xp pro again. When the installation was done everything worked except for my usb ports. I checked the device manager, and tried the add new hardware wizard and everything seems to be installed. Yet when I plug in my ipod, psp, camera, etc... nothing happens and they are not recognized. What can I do to fix this? Thanks!

its my first time building a pc, and i know i can assemble most of it without problems - however recently, i heard about ESD - is it a real problem, cause i dont wanna destroy my Bad Axe 2 or my E6600 - will an anti-static wriststrap help, and if i were to get one, what do they really mean by a grounded piece of metal - would that be attaching it the the case?
