need help with picking family computer and with mac should i get a mac or an apple 4c or 2e or apple 3

PC's are better.
MACS = overpriced proprietary hardware that is too slow.
That is why they started putting Intel chips in them, they woke up!

Macs have a slightly easier-to-grasp user interface and are far less prone to being virused because Macs are only about 5% of the user market, so hackers rarely bother with them. It happens, but not often. New Macs also come equipped with the iLife suite, which includes several utilities for audio, video and picture handling that are in tune with casual funtime-use, so its a good pick for a computer a whole group is going to have their hands on.
A Windows machine can work just as well, but in my experience, demands more general housekeeping, such as those all-important anti-viral updates. For more specific work, the two platforms are about even now, but for family use, a Mac has the edge. Apple hardware costs more because they make all their own equipment in-house, but its tough. I've had two and the antique one still boots up and runs like it always did. AFAIK, Mcs still require an additional defragmenting utility, whereas Windows has one built-in. There is also more software for PCs, so plan around what you mostly want to use this computer FOR, but overall, you can do what you want with either, because the basic user interfaces are very similar. Its all a matter of keeping things orderly.

I think a pc is better because a pc is more popular and better. I have a pc and mac and i like my pc way more. Because with a mac you have to use only mac programs. but with a pc there are more programs. Or you could get a software that allows you to use mac and pc programs.

i have a mac and i love it. i used to have a pc and it sucked. it crashed and i spent most of my time rebooting it. get a mac they
re better at photo and multimedia. get a mac they're a little more expensive and now everyone's going to get one so u might as well get one now.

well if you need it for stuff like designing things i would choose macs even though they are over priced......but they are really good and fast and easy to use! pcs are good for simple things like just using the enternet typing and printing stuff.....easy designs...

Depends on what you guys are more familiar with though! Mostly people are familiar with PCs.
