I have 2 hard drives and 1 machine.
I want to have 1 HD for gaming and the other for Storage.
Is this possible? The other HD is from my old computer.

How do i install my old HD in my computer so that i can use them both? Do I connect the wires connected to my default HD with the old one? Would it try to load 2 HD's at the same time and cause problems?

Thanks!

When I buy the external hard drive (200mb) I am going to transfer all of my important data to the new drive. Then I'm going to try to reload windows xp into the new externalhard drive. My reason for tying this is becuse my internal hard drive is screwing up and failing. I just want to know if it is possible to do this?

I have taken off all the programs I no longer use, shut off as many programs as I can that run in the background, done a disk clean up, spyware scan and a virus scan - the computer is clean, but still running slowly. Any suggestions?

When I turn on my computer, my monitor won't show anything. Both the power lights and the "busy" lights are on, and if I connect the CD drive, its light is on also. What should I do? BTW, I have duplicates of most of the parts.

Currently running

Intel 2.8
512ram
15g Hard drive
300g Hard drive
Geforce FX 5200 128mb
Asus P4C800 Motherboard
1 DVD player
1 CD/RW
350W Power Supply Unit.

I'm thinking about upgrading to 1g Ram
and getting a Geforce 7600GT 128mb

Now I've been hearing that Geforce 7600GT Runs great with 350W PSUs. Plus doesn't really lack anything to 7800GS.
And I know that psu is not just the watts but all the rails that need attention... which I have no clue..

If I upgrade without upgrading my PSU would my pc run decently?

As you can see my pc is getting pretty old,
I just want to spend maybe like $200 for an upgrade for it to last maybe a year or two longer.
(...or until Microsoft stops supporting windows XP.. which I think they said 3 years from now?)

Will it still be possible to run software programs that were designed for Windows XP on Windows Vista? For example if I wanted to run Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 (it says on the box that it was designed for Windows XP) on Windows Vista would there be any problems?

Alot of the software on my PC is designed for Windows XP...when I switch over to Windows Vista will these programs still function properly?

I have never owned a macintosh machine, but I am very interested/curious to get an iMac. My favorite stuff to do on the computer are multimedia, pics, videos, websites, music, and internet. I've heard iMacs have nice features for those types of things. My fiancee calls iMacs "communist". He says I'd better not get one. He won't give me a REASON. We already have two PC's and two laptops between us. (We both had one of each before we got together). Why does he hate them? It's just a machine (aka a toy for me)
