the normal HDD is giving some probs although on other PC it was working properly

I don't know what problems you mean. So long as both drives are properly detected in the PC BIOS ... just copy & paste.

If not, then verify the jumper settings on the IDE drive. Perhaps on the other machine it was Master & now you have it on the same IDE channel as a Master CD or DVD drive .... you would then have to configure the hard drive jumpers to Slave position.

If indeed it was working fine on the other PC this may well be the problem.

if the pc has both interfaces and the proper drivers are installed just plug them both in and copy to ur hearts content ..
