I am looking for a good source for cheap and used PC parts. In particular, I nedd a Pentium III Tualatin 1.4GHZ and I really don't want to pay more then $30.00 or so dollars because it is such old technology. Any ideas?

I've tried the conventional ebay, newegg, geeks, craigslist, etc. I'm looking for something a little less obvious.

There are usually computer recycling places in most towns. Check your phone book or dial information.

It's always a crapshoot when you are dealing with used computer parts though, usually better to buy something new that is low end and inexpensive than to waste your money on something old that you don't know the status of.

I would say eBay is a good start. Also try www.craigslist.org and then click on the right hand column for the city nearest you.
