I've checked in the set-up menus, where it says the bar can be moved, but not how to do it. It's really annoying and I would appreciate an answer to this.

i want to install Sims 2 on my PC, i'm about to get a new VGA card an AGP nVidia GeForce 7300GT, then somebody told me that nVidia cards create red-coloured walls (which shouldn't be red) he told me just get any Radeon. is this true?

when will these warring companies stop??

I was about to buy a dell laptop 640 m , the salesman told me it got a Core 2 Duo Processor 1.8 GHZ but i found the label on the keybaord Centrino Duo, is it the same , or that man is making fun of me ?! so does Centrino Duo means it is Core 2 Duo ?! or even which is better ? I recently turned off my computer the wrong way. Now when I turn it gives me a message that says do you want to ...Safe Mode, Normally, ... My question is even after I do this it gives me blue screen message that does not allow me to log on. What should I do.

I just bought a new power supply and video card.

I'm about to head over to my Dad's house and he's going to give me a hand replacing my current psp and video card. I know how to replace the video card but not the power supply so I'm going to be following an online guide. I've replaced my video card a few times before, but not the power supply.

I don't have a wrist strap, and I just got back from driving into town to eget that stuff, so I'm not enthusiastic about heading back into town, for a 15 minute job.

If I unplug my computer, let it cool off, and then touch a non-painted metal surface like a bolt or screw and then replacing the parts, will I fly my computer parts?

My system is a P4 3.2 (640) (2mb L2), 2 GB DDR400, 7800 GT with 256mb ddr3, 500gb hd's, Dual DVD Writers, LAN, Modem etc.

I bought this rig about 2 years ago. Still works perfectly but was wondering if I should seel it and get a quad core dd3 etc. My usage is some games, net, office etc.. This runs it fine but I see all this shiny new hardware and yum... ;)

Opnions ??

Btw what do you think this system would be worth now ?? It's mint condition.

My Computer has recently being going to a blue screen and telling me about a Hardware failure, i reset the computer via the button on the tower and it seems to work fine for a while before doing it again, it seems to happen alot more whilst playing game's, my OS is Window's XP, and the coomputer is a Dell.

Any help would be appreciated.

i've tried litterelly everthing. i looked up the audio device, i tried playing a sound file. but it said that the sound card is in use. i tried to put the volume control up on the computer but it said no device is connected. i need help. i restarted the computer several times and nothing.

I just got a new battery for my laptop and when i plug in the power cord it keeps going from Ac adapter to just running off the battery (at the bottom...the icon). i want it to run from the power cord, but it keeps saying its not plugged in and then it will be and then it wont be. This probably sounds really stupid and confusing....but i need to know if there is something i can do to make sure it runs off the power cord....any ideas or am i just stupid!?!?!?!

So my computer mouse every once in a blue moon selects more than one icon. The only way I can get around this is to restart my system. I checked the properties of my mouse and everything is okay. What could be causing this? How do I stop it from happening?

I have 2 different monitors now. The first one will randomly click and the picture will shrink and then grow back in like 1 second and then it works fine again.

The second monitor I just plugged in, and every so often I'll hear a click and the monitor will flash for like a split second and go back to normal

Should I be concerned in using either of these monitors? Which one would you use if you had to pick?
