I recently turned off my computer the wrong way. Now when I turn it gives me a message that says do you want to ...Safe Mode, Normally, ... My question is even after I do this it gives me blue screen message that does not allow me to log on. What should I do.

first, select the "last known good config setting that worked" ....if that doesnt work then try using your recovery disc(s) to try to repair the partition

When you select safe mode the system only uses the drivers nesessary to use it so you can repair the problem. Try normal on the next startup and hopefully it will find the files it needs to do it on it's own, it may take a few minutes but let it do it on it's own. If that don't work save what you want on another drive or floppy and reinstall windows. gl

Try using safe mode to log into the computer, if this fails try repairing the windows installation by using your windows disc.

boot into safe mode (F-8 when booting) and choose use last known good configuration

If all else fail because your OS is messed up, repair it. If XP, try this:
