I wanted to know if I can get any money for my HP monitor. Its a 15 - 19 inch. Its not a flat screen. Can I get anything for it? I called HP and they offered me $10.

I looked up a great site on the internet and you can get anywhere between $35-$40 for your HP monitor. Don't settle for just $10. It's worth more than that. Good luck on selling it.

That's about it, I called a local computer store that deals mainly in used computers, they offered me $10 for my old 20" monitor.

I got a new computer from Dell, and found I didn't like the flat screen (size) that came with it. So, I asked the same used computer store what they would give me for that. They said $50. On the Dell web site, that monitor sells for $150.

Best advice I have for you is donate it to Goodwill, then you can write it off on your taxes as a donation.

There's no market out there for used computer equipment.

Sorry.

CRT monitors are not worth much.

You might be able to get a little more than that on ebay/craigslist/etc. but not a whole lot more.
