I've checked in the set-up menus, where it says the bar can be moved, but not how to do it. It's really annoying and I would appreciate an answer to this.

Simple.

1. Right Click Taskbar
2. Make sure it isnt "Locked"
3. Click and Drag to the bottom (with left mouse button)
6. Right Click Taskbar
5. Make sure it IS "Locked" (to prevent this happening again)

Right click, click Lock taskbar so that the check is gone. Click on the taskbar, drag and relese when you see the dotted line box at the bottom of the screen.

Left click on a blank section of the task bar and drag to middle and then down.

Move the mouse over it, hold down the left button and move the mouse towards the bottom of the screen.

point your mouse over the task bar, click and drag back to horizontal..
