I've had my wireless mouse for about 2 years now and it's been acting up the past couple days by randomly not clicking or not moving the clicker on the monitor. I have replaced the batteries several times so I know for certain this is not what is wrong, and the wireless connector is fully inserted in my computer. My wireless keyboard is on the same connection so I know the connector isn't defective. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone has to offer

i have heard that it is but yet they seem to run slower (At work) when we leave them on all the time their and they run faster when i shut mine off and turn it on every morning, at home though i've been turning it off everynight but it seems like every 6 months i'm having problems where i need to reformat my whole computer, im wondering if i leave it on all the time if this will keep my system healthy?

My Compaq Presario laptop continues to turn off by itself. I have sent it in 3 times to be repaired and they can't fix the problem.
At first I thought it was just overheating but, now I'm not sure.
It powers on when I remove the battery but, it does not power on when the battery is in place. The a/c adapter works fine. Do I
need a new battery, motherboard, laptop fan? I'm completely at a loss.

A couple months ago I was having trouble with my computer battery/cord for a couple days straight. What happened was it would be plugged in but it wasn't really being registered as being plugged in. The battery warning signal and beeps would go off, even though I had it plugged in. I literally had to hold the plug into the computer at some points, pushing it in hard so it would register the battery, then move it all around so it stayed registered as plugged in. I also noticed a very low hissing kind of sound a few times. Then it seemed to go back to normal after a couple days, however since then it still is a bit troublesome, like I may have to move the cord until it is a certain way. But then all day today it started acting up again like that time months ago where I would have to hold it in until finally it decided to show as being plugged in, and that occasional hissing noise again.

I had a custom made computer for my kids at Christmas. Someone took down the firewall and it became infected with several viruses. I finally removed all of them, but the damage to the computer seems to be with the OS systems and missing drivers. So there is no manufactures restore cd. I had a compaq that came with that, and it was nice. But I'm stuck at what to do.
1. The only way to gain access to the internet is to create an new administrator and you will have brief access and then it can't seem to do anything. I was told by the guy that built the tower to wipe the hard drive and reload everything. I'm not sure how to wipe it, or fdisk it. I assume the drivers are on the motherboards CD or is that the bios? I have the OS XP cd. I also obtained a cd from Western Digital which is what the hard drive is. I also need the order in which you reload the software. PLEASE HELP.. I can not afford to pay someone $175 to do this. So I would be very grateful for anyone's help. TY

When my laptop broke down I transfered the hard drive into the enclosure thinking I would be able to get the data, but my new laptop wouldn't recognise the hard drive. I thought maybe it was because there was 2 platforms or something. But my friends laptop broke down and I put his hard drive into the enclosure and it worked! it opened up as another drive and he was able to retrieve all his data.
the only difference that I can think off is in my hard drive I used a password to access my account; my friend never had a password.Any ideas on how to get my hard drive to open?
Will I have to boot it from the external drive at the beginning so I can sign in and remove the password?

I am using a Lexmark all in one x1270 printer and when ever i try to print out a color picture the only colors i can get to print are yellow and pink. Is there a reason for this problem or is the printer faulty? ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE!!
