There's not much difference. http://www23.tomshardware.com/cpu.html
If you're trying to upgrade for gaming, you should worry about the video card instead. http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html
And now adays, getting 2gb ram is recommended.

Core2duo demands socket 775, yet older P4's will use 478, so no longer nicely matched. regardless of the undeniable fact that, you will get a duel middle Pentium 4 with socket 775 incredibly value effectively at present, approximately £50, that are your appropriate guess.

The 3.2 with the D945 is better but its unlikely you will see any difference unless you are doing stuff like video/audio editing.

If you are trying to go higher-end look into Core 2 Duo processors.

P4 3.2 Ghz is definately better
for one it is a faster cpu. the P4 (640) 3.2ghz also has hyperthreading. I have the setup in my comp but it is obsolete compared with the core 2 duos. since you have already bought your
cpu (3.06 ghz) i wouldnt worry about the 3.2 ghz you woudnt gain a significant amount of computing power.

Those are obsolete. The extra 200megahertz doesnt do much in those old Pentium processors.

if you have the 3.06ghz that is the best. The 3.2ghz would be faster if not multitasking. If you are multitasking your 3.06ghz with HT would be best.
