i bought the case(http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=372097) and the motherboard(http://techreport.com/reviews/2006q4/nforce680i/index.x?pg=1) seperately and i have no idea where to connect the power cords for the buttons on the case (that start the whole computer up) to the mother board. please help.thank you

Well some motherboards don't have every connection for the computer, like the sound, front usb, etc.

Aren't the cables from the case labeled? If not then you'd have to give a full description of what they say, before I can really help you.
If they are labeled ....you should be able to hook the labeled case cables to the Asus Qconnector, its a little white block with pins on one side, and it's clearly marked also. So stick the case cables in the appropriate slot and then connect to the motherboard.

Yeah, its not easy,.. having built about a dozen PCs myself. You have to look at the motherboard manual, and carefully draw out on paper the way the connectors are placed onto the pins. I can usually get them all but one particular set has to be cut, as it covers 3 pins, but only has space for two. http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step/10/

Most cases I have seen have markings on the plugs that go to the motherboard.

Such as PWR=Power HD LED - Hard Drive LED, etc

there will the two pin wire mentioned power switch just connect the wire to mother where power led and reset switch wire as been connect look closly there is pin mentioned power switch
