How can I tell if this is the problem. My equipment has been checked several times and my ISP sais everything is ok with my connection.

i configured my wireless network with Linksys router. I have a comcast digital cable service. The connection is excellent 54mbps but when i try to go to internet explorer it said page can't be display.

I have 256 KBPS Airtel Broadband connection in New Delhi, i want to use the same connection on my laptop through a wireless router. I am looking for the following information:

1. Which is the best router for this? I have to use this at my home only. Approx. price also if you know that...
2. Can you please tell me the connection setup for this?

Like this:

1. My Computer
2. Right click on Hard Drive
3. Click Properties
4. Navigate to Sharing Tab
5. Click on the link looking text that sais you understand the risks
6. Bleh bleh, follow it.
7. Go to the other computer
8. Start > Run
9. Type: cmd
10. When the black thing opends (MS DOS) Type: ipconfig
11. Find out what your IP address is for the "other" computer.
12. Start > Run
13. Type: \\192.168.1.4\
- Replaceing that IP with yours

14. It will open a window with the files/hard drives ou op'ted to share from the other computer. Do the same to this one to share the other way.
....

Now... i did all of that and i get an error message saying that the path 192.168.1.3 (<~~ my ip address i think...) cant be found... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! I desperately need to share files between the two... Thanks in advance!!!!

I have two comps a pc and a mac they connect thru a wireless router. The PC threw a ethernet from the router and the Macbook wirelessly.The internet works perfectly on my PC but the Mac cannot use the internet. It isays "airport is connected to the network, airport has a self assignd ip adress and may not be able to connecto the internet" does neone know how to solve this problem PLEASE HELp

If a person's computer is under attack and has a virus OR is carrying a trojan. When they posted a message (on yahoo answers lets say), using the effected computer, WOULD the other peolpe veiwing their message be effected with the same virus or trojan they have?

Whats better for wireless networking? USb 108 mbps or PCI card 108 mbps? price doesnt matter. usb port consuming doesn't matter. and opening up pcs doesn't. So, whats better? and also what product, type, model, brand, company should I buy. Thanks!
