change IP address , !! if u have a static IP address u need to know which IP address u want to use for interent , or DHCP (Automatic IP/TCP) , open-- run ----- (type) cmd ------ (push) open ---- (type) ipconfig release ----(Type) ipconfig renew -----
changes IP address done!!

if your building a home network then you can setup IP addresses for each computer if your going on the internet through a internet service provider then you can't alter the IP address. this is just like your home address and you can't change it at will

Unless you are doing something illegal or immoral, you shouldn't need to.
The IP is assigned by the provider when you sign on.

If you have a dial-up connection, log off and log back on.
If you have a broadband connection unplug your router, wait, then plug it back in, same for cable.

I *think* all you have to do is log off, shut down and then restart again. Even for DSL.
